Traffic management between Sandford and Avonmouth

Temporary accesses from local roads are the first activity - these are the roads affected

A construction traffic management plan has been agreed with the local authorities which sets out the roads our vehicles can use for construction work.

When we’re working on the highways, our contractors need to manage the traffic to keep everyone safe. This will involve using temporary ‘stop/go’ boards, traffic lights, and restricting parking and closing roads in some areas.

Our contractors put up advance notice signs to let local road users know of any traffic restrictions and closures.

We have agreed the following timings with the local highway authority:
