Access to public footpaths and rights of way
The new overhead line and construction roads will cross public footpaths and rights of way. When we are working near a footpath, we will need to close it temporarily to keep everyone safe.
We are working closely with our contractor, Balfour Beatty, to limit closures and to reopen paths as quickly as possible.
Our contractors put up advance notice signs to let users know of any restrictions and closures.
The table below shows the public rights of way where we are working.
|Footpath/public right of way||Location||Date||Map|
|LA-11-16 and LA-21-31||Kenn/Yatton||Until mid-September||Temporary footpath disruption|
|AX24/11, AX24/13 and AX3/42||Puxton||Until Spring 2022||Temporary footpath disruption|
|North Drove||West end of Nailsea||Until early November||Rolling closures, with restricted access to vehicles and pedestrians|
We will keep paths open as much as we can.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience during these closures.
